Porunai Foundation was born from a simple yet powerful belief: that every life deserves the chance to flow freely, just like the ancient Porunai River that nourished civilizations and inspired generations.

Growing up with the stories, culture, and spirit of the Porunai, we learned that a river does not choose whom it serves. It gives life to all — rich or poor, young or old, strong or vulnerable. That timeless lesson shaped the heart of this foundation.

Today, we face challenges that threaten the well-being of our communities: poverty, pollution, preventable diseases, lack of education, and the struggles of the elderly and marginalized. We work to uplift the poor, empower the marginalized, support orphanages, care for the elderly, protect the environment, and bring healthcare and education to those who need it most.
